The Board of Peace is using the language of colonial guardianship, repackaged for the twenty-first century.

Trump and Israel are demanding that Palestinians disarm.

Here is why that is wrong and unjust.

Demands that Hamas disarm follow decades of international calls for a ‘demilitarized Palestinian state.’  These demands insist that Palestinians surrender their right to self-defense, a right no people should relinquish.
