Israel’s settler colonial intension to take as much of historic Palestine as possible has intensified since 7th October 2023. Quite rightly, most of the world’s attention has focused on Israel’s genocide in Gaza however at the same time, Palestinians living in the rural parts of Area C of the West Bank are also experiencing violent attacks and ethnic cleansing.
Daily, Israeli authorities demolish Palestinian homes, uproot trees. confiscate land, and arrest Palestinians. Even schools and mosques have been targeted. Settlers, often armed, have been given free range to terrorize Palestinians. Fields have been burned, and animals have been stolen. Settlers invade Palestinian communities, including their homes, and beat and even shoot, injure and kill Palestinians with no consequences. In some situations, the violence has become so intolerable that the Palestinians have packed up and left their beloved communities. Israel’s goal is that that more land is cleared for the expansion of Jewish-only settlements.
Attend this one-hour webinar to receive the latest updates on Israel’s ethnic cleaning and settler violence in the Jordan Valley and the South Hebron Hills. Learn how it has intensified, and ways you can help this phenomenon be resisted.
