Dear *|FNAME|*
We are writing to introduce you to Monica Wusteman who has recently moved to Edinburgh and will be coordinating ICAHD UK’s activities in Scotland.
Monica’s introduction to ICAHD was through the 2007 Experience Travel Tours extended study tour to Palestine/Israel. She participated in another study tour in November 2022 to update herself about the situation on the ground.
She has served on the ICAHD UK Executive Committee from 2009 to 2013 and again since 2020 and comes with a strong background in grassroots campaigning. She is a founder member of York PSC, serving for two years on the PSC National Executive. Monica has been an active member of Northern Women for Palestine, a group of activists from the north of England who use International Women’s Day celebrations to bring the plight of the Palestinian people to new audiences[DEL: . :DEL]
Monica is particularly committed to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Campaign, being a founder member of the Boycott Israel Network and has served as the Newsletter Editor for the British Committee for the Universities of Palestine (BRICUP) - an organisation of academics and professionals who campaign for an academic boycott of Israel.
Monica is looking forward to working with our Scottish members and supporters to develop our activities in Scotland, including more regular face-to-face meetings and promoting joint events with the Scottish Palestinian Forum and others involved in bringing justice to the Palestinian people.
We are always happy to receive news and comments from our members so if you have anything you would like to pass on to Monica she may be contacted at mcwusteman@hotmail.com . We hope you are agreeable to us passing on your name and email address so Monica can send you information as appropriate.
With many thanks for your ongoing support.
Best wishes, Malcolm
Malcolm Wright ICAHD UK Administrator
