October Sponsored Walk & Cycle Ride
Sponsored Walk in Shropshire 11th - 13th October There are still some spaces left on our Sponsored Walk next week and we would love for you to join us! Not only will this be a beautiful few days amidst the Shropshire countryside, but it will be a great chance to meet other members and campaigners. It will also be an excuse to find out more about the work that we do and delve into practical responses to the current issues we face whilst campaigning for a just and sustainable peace in Israel and Palestine. We are delighted that Frank Barat, one of the coordinators of the Russell Tribunal on Palestine will be joining the walk this year.
All this whilst raising crucial funds to support ICAHD UK in our continued advocacy, education and grassroots support of Palestinian families and communities on the ground, as urgent now as ever. If you cannot make it, perhaps you know someone who might be interested and could help us spread the word to your friends and networks? Or alternatively if you would be happy to sponsor one of our walkers, we would very much appreciate this too.
100 Mile Sponsored Cycle Ride through the Lake District As some of you will know, one of our members Richard Barnes will also be doing a simultaneous cycle ride through his local area of the Lake District and aiming to raise some funds and awareness for the work of ICAHD UK along the way.
