Netanyahu Drops Bombshell: Disbands Apartheid Israel's War Cabinet Amid Genocide
Photo:Anadolu Agency. Israel's war cabinet - 10 June 2024
Jeff Halper was interviewed by Salaamedia, a Muslim radio station in South Africa, on 19^th June, soon after Netanyahu disbanded Israel’s war cabinet. Jeff stated that regardless of Gantz and Eisenkot leaving the cabinet which led to Netanyahu disbanding it, Israel believes that it has obtained its objectives in Gaza.
Despite not securing the release of all the Israeli hostages, it has assaulted and destroyed Gaza; invaded Rafah which was supposed to be the “red line” not to be crossed; defied the ICJ despite its ruling on plausible genocide in Gaza; and defied the ICC and the UN Security Council. Israel has not been sanctioned and continues to get US weapons.
Gantz now has his eyes on Hezbollah in Lebanon and says that Beirut should look like Gaza so that is where he wants to go next.
Israeli settlements are growing as it confiscates more land in Area C of the West Bank and it continues to seek normalization with the Gulf States.

The Tent of Nations needs our immediate support due to increasing settler activity on their land and their forthcoming court case scheduled for 2^nd July 2024 when its status is to be determined. ICAHD has long stood in solidary with its struggle to retain its farm from confiscation by Israeli authorities due to its location in Area C of the West Bank. Many of the ICAHD study tours have visited Tent of Nations over the years. Participants have heard about the family’s determination not to be victims but to believe in themselves. Their message is that they refuse to hate but want justice.
Tent of Nations is located on a hilltop between Hebron and Bethlehem and has been in the family since 1916. Over the years, five settlements have been constructed which surround it and the Israeli government claimed ownership of the land which has resulted in the Nasser family being in a legal battle for 34 years despite having all the legal documents to prove ownership.

7.00-8.15pm (Jerusalem), 5.00-6.15pm (UK), 12.00-1.15pm (EST) Life for Palestinians in Area C of the West Bank is worsening and becoming more challenging than ever before. Extreme Israeli Jewish settlers invade Palestinian rural communities and terrorize the residents; the Israeli army and police force close roads making access to communities, schools and hospitals difficult, if not impossible. Since 7^th October through 10^th June, within the West Bank, the Israeli regime has demolished, confiscated or forced owners to demolish 990 structures which has displaced 2155 people, including 1036 children. The Israeli government has implemented severe water restrictions throughout the entire West Bank at a time when temperatures are soaring to 40 degrees C. Within the Bethlehem and Hebron districts Palestinian water allowance has been cut by 45%.
So far speakers include:

Rasheed Khudairy, coordinator of the Jordan Valley Solidarity Campaign. Rasheed will speak about Israel’s water apartheid policies that are impacting on the herding communities who live under harsh conditions in the Jordan Valley.
National March for Palestine - Sat 6th July
End the Genocide - Stop Arming Israel Participate in this march to tell the new government to stop arming Israel and to pressurize Israel to end the genocide. Gaza's death toll from Israel’s relentless attacks since last October has reached 36,284. UNICEF says that 14,000 of the deaths are children. At least 82,057 Gazans have been injured. In addition, Save the Children reports that nearly 21,000 children are missing in Gaza. It said that thousands of them are believed to be trapped beneath rubble, buried in unmarked graves, harmed beyond recognition by explosives, detained by Israeli forces, or lost in the chaos of conflict.
Your New MP
Please contact your newly elected MP as soon as possible after the general election. Use ICAHD UK’s guidance (https://icahd.org/2020/03/30/sample-lobby-letters/) in establishing a relationship with your representive that will allow you to build trust, laying the foundation so that you can progress to sharing information about what is happening in Palestine/Israel. Most MPs have little more than superficial knowledge of what is happening there and often they have been influenced by the strong pro-Israel lobby. Help them grow in understanding so they gain courage in standing up for respect of international law and its implementation.
