Michael's Blog, August 25 "Renowned Palestinian artist, Suleiman (Sliman) Mansour, died on Monday, August 24, at the age of 79. I only met Sliman Mansour once, and it was brief. It was at an exhibit by his fellow Palestinian artist, Taleb Dweik, at the American Colony Hotel in East Jerusalem. Their styles very different, but much mutual respect. But seeing these two together, and our brief encounter, had a lasting impression for me.
