Registrations Are Now Open!

These are the days when Israel is finishing its settler colonial project in historic Palestine. The violence is brutal and humiliating for the Palestinians as even their homes are invaded, not only in Area C but also in Areas B and A due to the Oslo Accords being thrown out.

Netanyahu’s government is racing to establish as many facts on the ground as possible because Trump has given him the greenlight to do so. There is no going back to the ’67 lines for the illusion of that two-state solution.

Jeff refers to countries that one way or another are normalising their relationship with Israel and Israel’s success in its “hasbara” as it being a liberal, peace loving, democratic country that it has sold to the West.

At 18 minutes into the recording, Jeff’s attention is on Israel’s Matrix of Control used to expropriate most of the West Bank. He unpacks the mechanisms of the civil administration (the military government of the West Bank) that has avoided sanctions and achieved it aims. The statistics are staggering.

The final part of the update begins at 37 minutes. He asks internationals to make sure that the many wonderful campaigns don’t result in being disconnected from the current reality on the ground in Palestine with the urgency of the moment and the scale of human suffering that need our focus. A group of ICAHD UK supporters met John off the train at Marylebone Station and followed him as he joined the large group of people outside the Court willing to express their vocal support for Palestine Action knowing that it was likely that arrests would again be made.

At least 300 Palestinian activists were arrested. Car horns sounding in support from traffic along the Marylebone Road kept the Palestine movement energised. Dates and water were handed out. Police were overheard reporting to ‘welfare’ observers that those arrested were offered water and had their medication checked. Amnesty international observers were present to document happenings. What Happened at the National Demonstration for Palestine Photo – ICAHD group begins to assemble – 18 July 2026 The 37th National March for Palestine since 7th October 2023 was held in London on Saturday, 18th July. The theme was to tell the new Prime Minister: No War, End the Genocide and Sanctions Now. Our members Sarah and Avi scurried amongst the participants as they captured photos that illustrated the messages conveyed by the wide range of people who were out on the streets.

Sarah and Aviv also provided a summary of what was said during the speeches at the end of the march. New to the platform was Nadia Haawa from the Red Ribbons Campaign. The campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of the plight of Palestinian prisoners/hostages unlawfully held. She listed names of prominent doctors being held including Dr Abu Safiya who is close to death and journalist Mohamad Arab, taken from Al Shifa hospital in March 2024 who for one year was denied even a change of underwear. In her final statement she said that ‘they divide, but we must humanise’.

Jeremy Corbyn congratulated Andy Burnham on his new job as British Prime Minister but said he must know that millions of us in this country have marched for years in support of Palestine and that we will carry on for as long as it takes. ‘We will never shut up; we will never go away.’ See our website for a summary about what was said by other speakers and for more photos from the march.

ICAHD UK is supporting our colleagues from Jewish Network for Palestineand Campain to undermine the credibility of the Chief Rabbi, the Board of Deputies, and the Trustees of United Synagogues, because whether overtly or by implication, they present themselves as representing the majority of UK Jews and do not reflect the diverse options within the Jewish community. Our colleagues seek to develop and implement a specifically Jewish, Israel-critical, anti-Zionist countering and debunking of their dangerous and erroneous conflation of Judaism with Zionism.

Jewish Network for Palestine and Campaign have started their initiative by preparing a letter to them because they unlawfully promoted the sale of land in illegal settlements. They requested answers to seven questions about the Great Israeli Real Estate Event’ held at Edgware United Synagogue.
