Dear Member, ICAHD UK Annual General Meeting Saturday 20 June 2020 Due to the ongoing uncertainties caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and associated social distancing measures, we regret that it will not be possible to hold a conventional Annual General Meeting this year. In accordance with recommendations from the Government and legal requirements laid down in the various Companies Acts, we will be holding our AGM online using Zoom at 10.30am on Saturday 20 June 2020. The AGM will be followed by a presentation by ICAHD Director, Jeff Halper.
Full details of how the AGM will operate and the documentation for the AGM will be distributed in about a month's time but we now need to ask for nominations for the Executive Committee for 2020/2021.
A member of ICAHD UK may stand for election to the Executive Committee for a three-year term of office. Subject to the Coronavirus situation, the Executive Committee meets in London 4-5 times a year and the requirements for being part of the Executive Committee are detailed here . In the event that social distancing or other restrictions remain in place, meetings will be held over Zoom, Skype or a similar online conferencing tool.
Those who wish to stand for election to serve on the ICAHD UK Executive Committee need to provide a short biography with a maximum of 250 words and be proposed and seconded by two other members of ICAHD UK. This should be emailed toinfo@icahduk.org or sent by post to ICAHD UK, BM ICAHD UK, London WC1N 3XX to arrive not later than Thursday 21 May 2020 so that it can be distributed with all the AGM documents that will be sent out on Saturday 23 May 2020.
